What an incredible week at Boxwell Reservation! Despite a soggy, rainy day-one load-in, the skies cleared up to give Troop 747 perfect, mild weather for the rest of our stay at Camp Craig. Our Scouts showed up with high energy, teamwork, and an incredible drive to learn, grow, and bring home some serious camp glory.

Here is a recap of what made Week 2 at Boxwell an unforgettable success:

🏆 Sweeping the Camp Awards

Troop 747 made its presence known this week by taking home the ultimate trifecta of camp honors. Because of our Scouts' dedication to camp community, cleanliness, and teamwork, we proudly won:

  • The Craig Games: Showcasing our top-tier teamwork, athleticism, and scout skills.
  • The Golden Broom Award: Given to the troop maintaining the absolute cleanest campsite and highest standard of camp hygiene.
  • Spirit of the Camp: The premier honor recognizing the troop that brought the most enthusiasm, leadership, and scouting spirit to the entire reservation.

📈 Rank Advancements: Crushing the Requirements

Our newer Scouts hit the ground running and absolutely crushed their trail to first class. Together, they knocked out an amazing 47 individual rank requirements across Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class ranks, setting a phenomenal foundation for their scouting journeys.
